This Privacy Policy explains how Wi-Charge Ltd. (“Wi-Charge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit or use our websites, including our pre-order pages for the Schlage Encode wireless power retrofit kit (collectively, the “Sites”), and when you purchase or use our products and services (together, the “Services”).
By using the Sites or Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites or Services.

We collect information that you provide to us directly, information that we obtain automatically when you use our Sites and Services, and information from third parties.

We do not store your full payment card number on our systems. We may receive limited information from the payment processor, such as the last four digits of your card and payment status, for record-keeping and fraud-prevention purposes.

The right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions

7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to:

Fulfill your orders and pre-orders

Support product safety, warranty, and recall-related obligations
When we no longer need personal information for these purposes, we will delete or anonymize it, or, if that is not possible (for example, in backup archives), we will securely store it and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information we collect and store. These measures are designed to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of personal information.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our Sites and Services are not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as possible.

If you are located in the EEA/UK, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16 without appropriate consent from a parent or guardian, where required by law.
10. Do Not Track
Some web browsers and mobile operating systems include a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) or similar setting that you can activate to signal your preference regarding tracking. There is currently no universally accepted standard for responding to DNT signals, and we do not currently respond to DNT signals.
You can still manage cookies and certain tracking technologies using your browser settings and other tools described in this Privacy Policy.
11. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our Sites may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content that are not operated by Wi-Charge (for example, links to Schlage, distributors, social media platforms, or other resources).
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites or services you visit.
12. International Data Transfers
Wi-Charge is headquartered in Israel, and we may process and store your personal information in Israel, the United States, or other countries where we or our service providers operate.
These countries may have data protection laws that are different from those in your country of residence. Where required by law, we will implement appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect personal information transferred across borders.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors.
When we make changes, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this Privacy Policy and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as by email or a notice on the Sites).
Your continued use of the Sites or Services after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective signifies your acceptance of the changes.
